Lawless

Our Story

I AM ANNIE LAWLESS AND I’M THRILLED TO SHARE MY
DEEPEST PASSION WITH YOU.

As a child, I suffered from skin and health issues I assumed I was just born with and would have to manage for the rest of my life. I had awful eczema that was so itchy and painful, I would scratch until I was bleeding. I also had asthma, allergies, and digestive issues that were incredibly frustrating and affected my quality of life. As an adolescent, I was diagnosed with Celiac disease, a condition I had never heard of (I had actually never even heard the word “gluten”), and that changed everything. I became empowered with knowledge and within two weeks of removing gluten from my diet, my eczema, allergies, asthma, and digestive issues completely cleared up.

This was eye opening for me and I became completely fascinated with health and wellness, soaking up as much information as I could around ingredients in food and products, and how consuming them could directly affect my skin, health, and general well-being. Through trial and error, I gained a deep understanding of the correlation between what I put in and on my body to how I looked and felt. This led me to become a certified holistic health coach, yoga instructor, wellness blogger, and founder of one of the largest organic cold-pressed juice companies in the country, Suja Juice, and I have dedicated myself to helping others look and feel their best. And I don’t mean that in a cheesy way. I mean it in the realest, most authentic way possible! Because, let’s be honest, how we look does affect how we feel about ourselves.

In the Fall of 2017, I took my passion for health and wellness into a new category in which I felt I couldn’t find the type of products I was personally looking for – beauty. With my passion for clean ingredients, I had been trying to transition my makeup routine to all clean, non-toxic products, and was very underwhelmed with “clean” makeup on the market. As a full coverage loving makeup girl, I was seeking clean makeup comparable to my mainstream, popular favorites, free of toxic ingredients, but without having to sacrifice payoff, performance, and pigmentation.

I started Lawless Beauty with the mission to create highly pigmented, full coverage, and long-wearing clean makeup with a no tolerance policy for sheer, wimpy, no-makeup makeup formulas and any kind of potentially toxic ingredients. Lawless Beauty is like all of my life’s projects. I created my brand based on my own rules versus the traditional playbook written by someone else. Lawless Beauty is clean makeup that doesn’t f*ck around (but does give a huge f*ck about ingredients, color, and your health!) I hope you enjoy!!
XO, Annie
